CastleAbra Studios announces new adventure game “CastleAbra”. Coming this summer to Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android! And, a PreMortem!

Elizabeth, NJ – May 12, 2013

CastleAbra is an old-fashioned adventure game. In development for over 3 years, it is a massive, first person point and clicker. Featuring dozens of rooms filled with monsters and a cast of characters embroiled in a dark comedic love story.

Heavily inspired by our favorite adventure game “Shadowgate”, it has all the nostalgic trappings of the great adventure games of yesteryear. But with sophisticated humor and lowbrow silliness, it tells a unique story of broken hearts, eternal yearnings, and shattered dreams!

You play Nubbin Pureheart. A simple villager tasked with saving the Princess Myrna Loo who has been imprisoned by the love struck Wizardo. Your plan is to gain the Wizard’s trust and work behind his back to rescue her. Sounds simple enough, but numerous strangers and side quests will complicate your journey.

You can read about the making of CastleAbra in our ground breaking “PreMortem”. This in depth comic journal will explain the tragic story of our ridiculously long development process and explain the reasoning behind our unusual approach to marketing.

CastleAbra is nearly finished and we are shooting for a June launch. We have a special version of the demo available only to the press. Write us for a copy.
