SAN FRANCISCO (July 1, 2013) – / GAMENEWSWIRE / The Casual Games Association (CGA) today announced that it has created a Social Casino track for its Casual Connect Conference in San Francisco. The program, the first of its kind in North America, will feature 40 leaders in social and casino games who will be speaking across three days of lectures from July 30 to August 1.

The Social Casino track at Casual Connect was created under advisors Brock Pierce , Managing Director, Clearstone Gaming Fund and Jesse Janvosov , VP of Games, Zynga. The CGA expects that the event, launched earlier this year at Casual Connect Europe, will draw more people than any event at the cross section of video games and casino gaming.

“Casino is one of the fastest growing sectors of the games industry; an opportunity supported by the investment of casual, social gamers,” said Jessica Tams, Managing Director of the Casual Games Association. “Casual Connect is the perfect forum at which game developers and casino companies can meet, share information and collaborate.”

"We've created an event that truly brings together the who's who in casino video games," said Brock Pierce, Managing Director, Clearstone Gaming Fund. "While the expectation is high, we are confident that it will be the most important conference for the casino audience to attend this year."

Topics highlighting the program include:

  • Social Casino: Where We Started and Where We’re Going
  • 5 Online Social Myths
  • What Social Means to Big Casinos
  • Removing Risks from Building Games; Maxing Profits
  • Real Money Gaming Features Applied to Non-Casino Video Games
  • Real Money Gaming: Review and What’s Ahead
