United Kingdom and Netherlands– May 22, 2009– iPhone publisher, Chillingo and Dutch console game development studio Two Tribes today announced the availability of the Toki Tori puzzle game on the Apple App Store.
The Toki Tori app follows a young chick, Toki Tori, and his quest to rescue his younger siblings who are still in their eggs. To progress through the game, a player must pick up each egg on a level using a set number of tools, with new tools being introduced as the player progresses through four unique worlds. The in-game controls for Toki Tori have been developed from the ground up to take specific advantage of the innovative Multi-Touch user interface of iPhone and iPod touch.
"Toki Tori showcases the iPhone and iPod touch as a compelling alternative to console gaming– the polish of this title is amazing on these revolutionary devices." says Chris Byatte, co-Founder and director of Chillingo.
"We are delighted to be working with Chillingo to bring Toki Tori to the App Store. The quality of the app combined with the marketing experience that Chillingo brings to the table, will result in maximum exposure for Toki Tori." said Martijn Reuvers, managing director of Two Tribes.
