Madrid, 8 October 2008

As they proceed with dynamic development of the international business– being one of the strategic objectives of the recent City Interactive IPO– the CI Management Board have decided to open new offices in Spain.

Marek Tyminski, President and CEO of the City Interactive Management Board, has emphasise the importance of the Spanish market for the company;‘we are looking to expand our business in Europe and Spain is our natural next step forward. Considering its market size, since the consumption of the Spanish industry of videogames reached around 1.500 million Euros during the last fiscal year, figure that represents a notable increase on the ratios obtained for the previous year, and proven interest from Spanish gamers, we are confident that our office in Madrid will make a story of success’.

In turn, Vicente M. Gómez, Managing Director of City Interactive Spain said;‘It's unthinkable that a company doesn't consider our market as a priority aim. City Interactive has launched in Spain with the clear desire of turning into a solid and trustworthy ally for the trade channel and the rest of stakeholders implicated, contributing with the years of experience that our team have in the videogames sector. We have just arrived and we would like to stay here for a long time’.
