Crystal Dynamics Licenses NavPower for Tomb Raider: Underworld

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.– October 15, 2008 - Middleware developer BabelFlux LLC announced today that its NavPower AI middleware package has been licensed by Crystal Dynamics for their upcoming game, Tomb Raider: Underworld.

The NavPower system provides full 3-D AI motion planning, with features such as an industry leading NavGraph auto-generation process, high-quality character steering, full 3-D dynamic obstacles, multi-core processing, streaming, and integrated visual debugging.
