Defend Mother Earth Against The Alien Invaders In ‘2022 Space Invasion’ Just Released On The App Store

Independent developer ‘Maysalward’ is proud to announce the release of their hardcore action-shooter ‘2022 Space Invasion’ now available on the App Store. Compatible with the Apple iPhone®, Apple iPod touch® and the Apple iPad®, this adrenaline packed shooter has you battling to save mother earth from the invaders, who travelled the humble distance of 17.3 billion light years to stomp your human butt!

‘2022 Space Invasion’ features classic and intense 2D top-down vertical pixel-killing mayhem in addition to glorious 3D first-person-view. The action begins as soon as the ‘Orion Explorer’ discovers that alien intruders have entered the atmosphere, and a group of highly trained top fighters led by you, yes you, fly out to meet them! The key to success is to have fast trigger fingers, pixel-perfect maneuvering skills, and the best combination of ship, power-ups and add-ons! Each ship has unique strengths and weaknesses, and luckily each can be enhanced through achievements and in-app purchases.

The FREE download of ‘2022 Space Invasion’ comes with 3 unique missions, and more will be available later through future updates to the game: In the first mission it is your task to protect the ‘Orion Explorer’ and not let invading ships pass through. Drones can be purchased aiding you on the mission, where your ultimate goal is to destroy the enemy commander. The second mission truly puts your skills in shooters to the test. Here you need to search for, and retrieve, energy particles. The enemy ships have protective shields making them even harder to nuke, and the experience level of the aliens is vastly improved! And finally, in the third and final mission its payback time and you finally get to enter the enemy base to locate and destroy their energy source. In this final mission you need to make sure your ship has been upgraded to its fullest, or you simply don’t stand a chance of survival.

With its action packed gameplay, visually stunning graphics, 2D- as well as 3D-mode, brilliant music and fast-paced action, ‘2022 Space Invaders’ is a force to be reckoned with! Download your FREE copy today and experience first-hand the ultimate battle to save mother earth!
