A dangerously distracting design can win you the next Dejobaan title.
September 26th, 2011 -- Watertown, MA -- Dejobaan Games has issued a challenge to fans of their award-winning, IGF finalist "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!-- A Reckless Disregard for Gravity" ("Aaaaa!"): Create outrageous billboards for fake products and win a personal copy of their as-yet-unnanounced 2011 "semi-sequel." They've posted details at dejobaan.com/create-a-fake-ad-win-our-upcoming-game, with a deadline of Fridaaay 9/30/11.
Here are the basics: grab an image (morguefile.com) and jazz it up with a caption to create a billboard that matches the Dejobaan indie spirit. If they love it, they'll give you a copy of the game when it's out, and they'll even immortalize your design by plunking it down in one of the game's cities.
For those unfamiliar, Aaaaa! ( www.dejobaan.com/aaaaa), challenged BASE jumping fans to leap from floating buildings, create their own stunts, and flip people off for points. The indie studio is keeping mum about this upcoming offering, except to say that it's "gobs faster, more fun, and more gorgeous."
