“The recent train accident in Chatsworth impacted our blood supply when American Red Cross Blood Services in Southern California provided almost 400 units of blood to help meet the immediate blood needs of the trauma patients affected by the Metrolink crash,” said Teresa Solorio of the American Red Cross.“We are working to replenish our community’s blood supply in order to be prepared for the next emergency, and we are delighted to have this opportunity to provide a fun environment for our donors, who are so generously giving of themselves to help others. If you have never donated before, now is a really fun time to start. If you have donated before, now is a great time to donate again.”

“With Halloween fast approaching and the need for blood growing everyday, we here at Encore feel the best way to promote the release of Dracula 3: Path of the Dragon and help the community is to hold a blood drive,” said Cal Morrell, president of Encore.“This blood drive allows the community to give to a great cause, get into the spirit of Halloween and enter to win a free copy of Dracula 3: Path of the Dragon.”
