Dragon Nest Europe: The Night of the Pumpkin Duck

Eschborn, 9th October 2013: Dragon Nest Europe, now published by Shanda Games International Europe, released a big update containing the new Academic class and the Halloween week events.

Here comes the Girl, Academic!

Her mission – to go back in time to present-day Althea, save Prophet Rose and activate Goddess Althea’s monolith in order to create a new world and save the land from the evil Red Dragon. With the help of the time-travelling airship, the Apocalypse, the Academic journeys 50 years into the past to re-write history for a better tomorrow.

To support all players with leveling up the Academic, there will be Flaming Weekends , during which players will be getting more experience and loot. Moreover, all players who reach level 40 within the first five weeks in the Academic Race get some cool mounts and items.

All information about the Academic and her talents can be found at

Scary Halloween Times

This year, Halloween is the Night of the Pumpkin Duck which already started in Dragon Nest Europe. Players will randomly meet the Crazy Duck’s undead cousin, the Pumpkin Duck! A few hits and it will drop Halloween coupons that can be exchanged for fancy Halloween stuff.

These days, players have to be careful on their farms. If they meet a GM on their farm, they have to give him sweets or otherwise the astral creatures haunting him will ravish the player’s souls.

On top of all that, players will get rewards for just staying around in game.

New Treasures of Althea

Great Halloween costumes are available now, as well as a new mount hiding in the Deluxe Boxes – the Gentleman Sheep!

The odds are in all players’ favour: instead of just one item players will get two items out of each Deluxe Box.
