Press release - for immediate publication
Munich, September 7, 2011 – The first server for the completely new Travian 4 game was started in February 2011. Because not every user around the world was able to get hold of an account at the relaunch, there have been successive additional server launches for the most-played browser game in the world. Because Munich-based Travian Games GmbH relies on the server capacity of its partners, some of which were unable to respond the immense demand in the different country versions, the creators of the empire-building Travian strategy game are pleased to announce that they have now initiated a large-scale offensive with numerous server relaunches.
Over the next few weeks, new servers will be started in over 20 countries worldwide, each hosting around 40,000 players competing against one another as Gauls, Romans or Teutons for glory, honor and power.
The following is a list of the countries that are all set for the relaunch: General Arabic-language server ( travian.ae), general English-language server ( travian.com), Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain and Turkey. The servers will start over the next four weeks. Additional servers will follow successively in further countries with high demand levels.
