e-virtuoses: 2012 programme preview

e-virtuoses, the essential event for Serious game professionals, is taking place this coming 23 rd and 24 th May at the Phénix in Valenciennes, north of France. The international event is completely free with finance provided by the organiser, the Grand Hainaut Chamber of Commerce (CCI), and the Nord-Pas de Calais regional authority in partnership with the Pôle Images business cluster.

This year, the event is aiming to go straight to the heart of the key issues affecting today’s professionals. With growth potential of around 47% and a turnover of 1.5 billion Euros*, Serious games are opening up new and exciting horizons to the business, training and institutional worlds.  

Spotlight on the 24 th May 2012 conference schedule


This year the event is composed around 4 central themes with a packed programme on May 24 th running from 9 am to 5.30 pm.  Throughout the day, human resource directors, training professionals, communicators, educators, project managers, scientists, doctors and managers will hear how video games are currently being used to communicate, train, manage risks and improve sales.

The back-to-back programme consists of 3 series of conferences based around the professional themes of  'Communication & Marketing', 'Training & Education' and 'Risk & Crisis Management'. An additional series of conferences will be dedicated to the theme of 'Evaluating & Measuring the Impact of Serious Games'.


Big businesses, SMEs, universities and institutions will share their latest innovations with attendees at the conferences on May 24 th.  More than 10 nationalities will be represented at the event, including the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Russia, the USA and Turkey.

Created and initiated by the Grand Hainaut Chamber of Commerce (CCI), the e-virtuoses conference will take place on 23 and 24 May 2012 in Valenciennes, north of France.
