The Grand Hainaut Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) today officially announced that this year’s “e-virtuoses” international Serious game conference will take place at the Phénix in Valenciennes, northern France, this coming 4-5 June. For its 5th edition, the event will focus on highlighting emerging trends in the increasingly important world of Serious games. The aim of the event is to position Serious games on the same quality level as commercial AAA video games (e.g. Call of Duty, Starcraft 2, Skyrim etc.) while simultaneously offering reduced production costs to meet the needs of SMEs and organisations with limited budgets. This goal is central to this 5th edition of “e-virtuoses”. In addition to the core international event, the organisers are launching two calls for candidates: the International Scientific Symposium and the “e-virtuoses Awards”.
