Estonian Rainar Ütt Named New Head of QA at InnoGames

Hamburg, March 19, 2013. Rainar Ütt is strengthening the InnoGames staff as new Head of Quality Assurance with immediate effect. The Estonian previously worked as Head of Quality Assurance for the Unibet Group in Stockholm. This addition to the team comes on the heels of the German-based company’s increasing focus on international recruitment and the release of a new HR video, focusing on staff internationalization.

Rainar Ütt studied Business information Technology at the Tallinn University of Technology. At InnoGames, one of his major tasks is to lead the InnoGames QA to a more development integrated approach, enabling InnoGames to bring high quality software faster to the market. He explains, “The new job at InnoGames is an appealing task in a very dynamic market environment. I like the international appeal of InnoGames and I am looking forward to contributing further to the success of the company, as I believe that high quality standards are one of the key factors for online games.”

InnoGames currently employs 230 people from about 20 nations. The official office language is English. “This makes sense for several reasons”, InnoGames COO Michael Zillmer adds.

“For one, we are not able to fill all of our open positions with highly educated and talented people from Germany. Also, our games are very international. 90 percent of our customers are from outside of Germany, and the same applies for our Business partners. That makes it essential for us to have an international culture at InnoGames.” By the end of the year, the company wants to hire about 70 additional employees, mostly in development.
