Thursday, 1 st March, 2012 – London, UK - Eutechnyx, one of the world’s leading independent game developers, today announced the appointment of former Co-Founder and COO of successful German free-to-play online games publisher Frogster Interactive, Dirk Weyel, as a non-executive director and member of the board, with a remit to oversee the worldwide rollout of Auto Club Revolution®, and establish the Eutechnyx publishing operation across global territories.

Eutechnyx have been steadily ramping up staffing in the new publishing arm, with the appointment of 21 new team members over the last six weeks. Weyel will be looking for more experienced free-to-play development & publishing staff for the London office, as well as the Gateshead HQ, over the coming weeks and months.
Weyel has vast experience within the industry. He joined Psygnosis Germany in 1998, was the co-founder and managing director of German games agency 4-Real Intermedia and, most recently, was the co-founder and COO / CMO of leading European MMO publisher, Frogster Interactive.
Dirk Weyel and the complete management team of Eutechnyx will be attending the Games Developers Conference in San Francisco, taking place between the 5 th and the 9 th March 2012, and will be happy to demonstrate the game and discuss potential business opportunities with interested parties.
