Arab Spring spreads to China? Nuclear explosion in Fessenheim, France creates radioactive cloud over Europe? What’s up with Sarah“Malin” and her possible Presidential bid? How will you handle these events?
WEST HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT– JUNE 28, 2011 – An intriguing and powerful modding tool is available today for Eversim’s Rulers of Nations, Geopolitical Simulator 2. The game lets players become President Obama (or other world leader) and face current political challenges -- budget deficit, Afghanistan, Iran, and global warming. Some players succeed and some drive the world into chaos!
The Rulers of Nations' new modding tool lets you can create your own geopolitical scenarios starting in the past, present, or future. Replay them in a super-realistic simulation, and share them with other players! Check out the game's website http://www.rulers-of-nations.com and get the new modding add-on for $14.99 at http://www.rulers-of-nations.com/modding.php.
The new tool allows players to:
Edit a nation's information (economy, politics, demographics, taxation);
Change the international relations between countries (diplomatic alignment, military alliance);
Change world geography (merging of countries, regional independence, creating a city on the map);
Create very thorough and detailed missions and scenarios (trigger protests, wars, disasters, political scandals, assassinations of public figures, national elections, requests to characters…, with the possibility to define several triggering conditions and to edit the in-game text);
Remake history by creating scenarios starting in the past or the future, from year 1900;
Give characters new names and appearances, and give groups new names and logos thanks to the customization kit that comes with the tool; and
Easily share their creations (hosting and downloading using our site, uploading user-created mods directly from the game).
It comes with scenarios already created using the tool, such as:

Playable countries: Syria, Yemen, Bahrain, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, China, Cuba, North Korea, Oman, Mauritania, the Sudan, Kuwait.
