Calgary, Canada - December 1st - Canadian independent game developerEvil Objective Studios is pleased to announce that a free version of it’s debut title, Scribble Byte Scramble, is now available for the iPhone and iPod Touch in the App Store. Scribble Byte Scramble Free features a unique blend of arcade and puzzle elements that has the player scrambling to connect same-colored ‘Bytes’ before they hit the ‘Fire Wall’ at the bottom of the screen.

Scribble Byte Scramble Free includes the same addictive gameplay as Scribble Byte Scramble, however they will have to upgrade to the paid version if they want any help from the ‘Megabyte’ or ‘Hypnobyte’ power-ups.

“We wanted to give everyone a chance to play the basics of Scribble Byte Scramble without having to spend any cash” explained Russ Dawson, founder and Director of Evil Objective Studios, “So we decided to release a free version that includes the core Scribble Byte Scramble experience, then let the player choose whether they want to upgrade to the paid version for access to the Game Center leaderboards and ‘PowerBytes’, or just stick to the basic free version.

Dawson contends that Evil Objective Studios won’t be leaving ‘free’ players in the dark, and insists that like the paid version Scribble Byte Scramble Free will continue to be updated in the months to come. “For example, players preferring to play Scribble Byte Scramble Free will still get to opportunity to use the rare, mysterious, and yet point-generous ‘Carlos Byte’, which was just introduced as an award for reaching certain scores in the latest paid version of Scribble Byte Scramble”.

Scribble Byte Scramble Free is now available on the App Store for FREE!
