Copenhagen, Denmark; September 10, 2012 – The completion of the PC game Expeditions: Conquistador by the Danish indie developer Logic Artists is confirmed. The basic target of $70,000 was achieved three days before the end of the Kickstarter campaign, thus reaching the level necessary for the basic version of Expeditions: Conquistador.
In Expeditions: Conquistador, players take on the role of a Spanish conqueror and must prove both their diplomatic and strategic skills. The money pledged thus far via Kickstarter will be used to develop two complete campaigns, 100 random events, ten character classes, eight characteristic weapons, and a variety of character skills.
In the remaining hours – the Kickstarter project ends on Wednesday, September 12 at 05:25 AM EDT – the developer team is looking forward to more support in order to reach the newly established stretch goals:
- At $ 80,000, passive skills for companions will be implemented.
- At $ 90,000, players will receive a larger selection of weapons and armor for equipping their companions.
- At $ 100,000, character talent trees will be added, offering between six and nine various combat skills per character class.
If the above stretch goals are not reached, the additional money will of course be used to give the final polish to Expedition: Conquistador during quality assurance.
