Appitalism announces that it has launched a Facebook version of the Appitalism universal app store, which is available now at http://apps.facebook.com/appitalism. The Appitalism Facebook app has been designed for consumers whose preferred Internet platform is Facebook to quickly see, find and get mobile and digital apps. The Appitalism Facebook App integrates the full Appitalism app store experience into Facebook and includes the option for consumers to purchase premium apps and digital content items from the Appitalism app using Facebook Credits as their payment method. The Appitalism Facebook app also includes simplified sign in and sign up for new and existing Appitalism members using their Facebook account credentials.
Commenting, Simon Buckingham, Chief Appitalist at Appitalism said: "Its a natural fit for a social app store such as Appitalism to integrate our community and content experience into a Facebook app tailored to their audience. We are excited by the monetization possibilities that Facebook Credits enables for the sale of apps and premium content items. Facebook Credits allows a large existing customer base to easily pay for apps and digital content from Appitalism using their preferred payment method."
Facebook is the fourth access screen that Appitalism is available on, joining the website at http://www.appitalism.com, the tablet optimized version at http://www.appitalism.com/?webmod=tablet and the mobile phone and smartphone optimized version at http://app.sm. Appitalism intelligently detects the device and platform the consumer is visiting the service on and seamlessly delivers the best version for them. All of the different versions of Appitalism link back to just one service, so the content and features such as the App Rewards loyalty program are available through and linked between all of the access points.
