FGTV is a new way to engage families and newcomers with videogames. It avoids grinding through endless party games, and instead takes time to introduce real families to core gaming experiences that fit their needs and ages.

The bi-weekly show just went live on Wired.com’s GeekDad blog:

Viewers can track with everyday families as they make the journey from non-gamers to gamers with the aid of on-hand gaming experts. Alongside this, the latest games are reviewed with a focus on those titles that fit families well (particularly core games that get overlooked by casual gamers).

The show is rounded off by a Family Gaming Surgery where viewers’ questions are answered on a range of topics most pressing for families who want to start playing videogames together more.

For details of FGTV sponsorship and advertising opportunities, or to submit a game for inclusion on the show, please contact the show producer via email: editor@familygamer.co.uk.
