FC Barcelona now in the social game Sports City

13 April 2012 – iZ, Pyro Studio’s brand for development of games for social networks, has reached an agreement with Futbol Club Barcelona which allows Sports City players to incorporate official content of the Club into their game. From now on, players can acquire a virtual copy of Camp Nou, the official team badge, booster packs and decorative items.

Sports City is a sports management game on social networks with high graphic quality. It offers a unique gaming experience on Facebook, through a clever combination of characteristic elements of classic sports management games and an innovative vision of Tycoon style.

In Sports City, the player manages the development and evolution of his own club and competes with his friends to see who the best sports manager is. From now on, when a player acquires Nou Camp stadium, he skips the step of competing for the best stadium and every time he wins matches, he will be able to receive awards and experience points. On the other hand, every time he buys a booster pack, he gains 3 official team players – one of which with gold qualification.

Sports City already includes three of the most important European Football Clubs in its game options. Apart from FC Barcelona, one can also opt for AC Milan and SL Benfica. This way, a new range of possibilities is open to the players, who can now reissue the final phases of the Champions League and confront Milan with Barcelona in new and passionate virtual encounters, in San Siro stadium as well as in Camp Nou.
