Game studio LudoCraft Ltd. is developing AirBuccaneers HD, a game heavily influenced by Kalevala and other northern mythologies. Originally an Unreal Tournament 2004 modification, AirBuccaneers HD has been revived as a Unity engine based game. Now players can fly their hot air balloons across the vast skies and fight their enemies with cannon fire and daring boarding attempts. This time the Buccaneers aren’t battling against the original modification’s lowly Peasants though, as there’s a new threat rising from the west: the brutal and fearsome Vikings.
The AirBuccaneers HD Shop is Open
The AirBuccaneers HD Game Account is available for pre-purchase in the AirBuccaneers HD Shop. During the game’s production LudoCraft will try out different sales methods, some of which will give the fans a piece of the game’s success. The early birds get the game account for a lower price and a bunch of exclusive content. The AirBuccaneers HD’s current Pre-Alpha development version can be played for free. The game will be finished during 2012. The Alpha version can be expected to arrive on the 28 th of February, which in Finland is known as the Kalevala day.
