December 2011 (Sanford, Florida) – Sky Parlor Studios, a mobile game development studio, is releasing a huge round of updates to their title Fire and Dice, much of which has been based on user feedback. The core of the gameplay remains the same, however many updates have been added and adjustments made to accommodate the new features. 

Notable Updates:

New Leaderboard System: OpenFeint, and GameCenter, is now implemented and used for all leaderboard systems. Leaderboards will also show how many citizens have been rescued and how many fires have been put out over the lifetime of the user's play history. 

Achievements: There are 25 achievements that players can earn by completing various tasks throughout the game, integrated with both OpenFeint and GameCenter. 

New Helicopter System: It now takes 5 helicopter dice to use this resource. Consequently, they reduce all fire's HP by 5. 

Hero Bonus and Key System: For every citizen the player rescues they are awards a Hero Bonus point. After accumulating 10 points, they earn a Key to the City of Sparksville.  A Key to the City allows players to unlock previously locked die. Don't want to waste valuable time putting out fires to rescue citizens? Keys to the city are available for purchase from within the game!
