18 December 2007 (Hannover, Germany) Mobile Streams Plc, the global mobile media specialist, and Inlogic Software, an independent game developing company, today announced the launch of“Suicidal Squirrels: The Mobile Game”.
“Suicidal Squirrels” is a fun and crazy series of animated shorts. It’s about 100 Squirrels that have decided that they want to die– each episode features another unique squirrel suicide. The series is an original Mobile Streams production, and is being distributed to TV, DVD, broadband, and mobile alike.
With“Suicidal Squirrels: The Mobile Game”, Mobile Streams and Inlogic now present a new and exciting extension of the brand. The object of the game is to help lots and lots of Squirrels kill themselves. To complete a level, players need to guide all Squirrels to a fatal death trap, so they can successfully commit suicide.
The game promises an extraordinarily long and captivating gaming experience. Players will enjoy hours of fun trying to complete 24 challenging and increasingly tricky levels. The game perfectly reflects the series’ overall combination of a‘twisted’, tongue-in-cheek theme and humour with the most cute and adorable Squirrels graphics and animations.
The Suicidal Squirrels mobile game will be marketed through Mobile Streams’ multiple distribution platforms. This includes Mobile Stream’s comprehensive global operator distribution, as well as consumer marketing through mobile search engines which are rapidly being positioned by mobile network operators globally. Also, distribution will be driven by Mobile Stream’s dedicated“Suicidal Squirrels” web base www.suicidal.tv. In addition, Inlogic’s own distribution channels will also be leveraged.
Steffen Heisterberg, Managing Director Europe, commented, "We are delighted to be working with Inlogic, who have developed an extraordinarily fun and compelling mobile game that perfectly fits our‘Suicidal Squirrels’ brand. Squirrel fans around the globe will love this game.”
