FOURFIRE ANNOUNCES STICKY BEES RELEASE DATE

Lawrence, Kan. – January 31st, 2012 – Fourfire, the studio started by industry veteran Matt Cox (Scribblenauts, Destroy All Humans) brings a brand new experience to iOS this winter with the new title Sticky Bees.

Sticky Bees follows The King Bee as he slide-smashes through eight gorgeous environments to eliminate the dastardly Hummingbird King.

Slide your way through waves of bugs while gathering a longer and longer chain of Sticky Bees to increase your score! Only the King Bee is strong enough to destroy those bugs, but needs to be attached to Sticky Bees so he doesn’t lose his pollen and die. But don’t let those bugs touch the Sticky Bees!

Sticky Bees in unlike any game you’ve ever played before. The all-ages action is filled with eight levels, enemies, bosses, fun power-ups (invincibility, boom, freeze and extra pollen) and simple touch controls. Play on a quick break or play for hours and complete missions, achievements or go for bragging rights on the leaderboards!

“I can’t think of a better game than Sticky Bees for Fourfire to enter the industry with,” said Cox, Creative Director of Fourfire. “Not only is it a completely different experience than anything on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, but it’s just plain fun. We expect it to resonate with everyone, not just gamers.”

Fourfire also plans to give a portion of profits to a variety of charities like Charity:Water.

“We realize video games are a first-world luxury,” said Cox. “So the entire Fourfire team is excited to give back to the less fortunate around the world and in our own back yard.”

Sticky Bees will be available for purchase in the iTunes App Store on February 2, 2012 for $0.99 on iPhone and iPod Touch devices and $1.99 for the HD iPad version.
