Los Angeles, CA, August 6, 2007– Fox Interactive Media (FIM) today announced the appointment of Charlie Barrett to the position of senior vice president sales for IGN Entertainment. In his new role, Charlie Barrett will serve as head of sales for IGN Entertainment, the Web’s leading network of gaming and entertainment sites, which includes IGN.com, GameSpy, Direct2Drive, RottenTomatoes and AskMen, among others.

Charlie Barrett joins FIM with an impressive background in interactive marketing and advertising sales at some of the world’s leading Internet brands. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales for CNET Networks, where he created and managed successful advertising and marketing solutions for properties such as Gamespot.com, TV.com and Webshots.com. Prior to CNet, Barrett served in executive sales roles at AOL, Yahoo! and GeoCities.
