GamersGate Unveils New Payment System for PC's

NEW YORK - Dec. 9, 2008

GamersGate, the leading digital distribution platform creating easily accessible gaming experiences for gamers worldwide, today announced the first launch in a series of suites and tools for publishers to increase revenue and streamline operations through digital distribution. The new suite, GamersGate Microsuite, will offer a complete solution for micropayments.

GamersGate Microsuite will allow publishers to sell microitems, enhancements, add-ons, and digital content both in the lobby of the game and in-game. The suite is easy for publishers to integrate into their games and gamers will have all items and purchases collected on their account at GamersGate. The Microsuite empowers developers and publishers to own the transactional elements of their properties with the simple addition of a SDK. At the same time, the consumer benefits from a direct relationship with the game's publisher and having all their purchases collected on one account.
