Friday 2nd September 2011: Eurogamer and GamesIndustry.biz announced today that We R Interactive and Sheridans have confirmed their participation in the UK’s premier games financing event, Games Invest 2011, taking place on Thursday 22nd September at the Eurogamer Expo, Earls Court, London.
We R Interactive creates and publishes social games that bring together the disciplines of games, film and TV production, such as the first ever point-of-view football game I AM PLAYR. We R Interactive is backed by high-profile figures from film, music, finance and advertising, and is interested in meeting developers at Games Invest 2011 looking for a publishing partner, project finance or equity investment, and who share a desire to step outside of traditional models and make things happen.
Alex Chapman from Sheridans acts for some of Europe’s top games companies from small indies to AAA developers to MMO publishers and beyond, having a strong reputation for expert knowledge and advice in the sector, especially with intellectual property and business law. Alex will deliver a session at Games Invest 2011 on new business models and the importance of IP.
