London, England - Tuesday, 20th July 2010 - The online games services company ICO Partners has added Julien Wéra, a seasoned online games communications specialist, to its EU-focused consultancy team. Wéra is joining ICO as PR and Marketing Manager. Previously, he headed Marketing and PR for online games publisher Gala Networks Europe before moving to PopCap Games as PR Manager. In his new role, he will expand ICO Partners’ media relations and promotional services throughout Europe under the brand ICO Media.
This marks the second staff addition for the company this year, following just two months after community specialist Martin Rabl joined the ICO team after a five-year stretch at NCsoft.
" Adding Julien to our core team fits perfectly with our commitment to provide the best experts there are to our clients. His deep expertise and his network of contacts are very precious, and will allow us to accommodate growing demand for these services, as more foreign publishers enter Europe and more independent studios choose to self-publish," says Thomas Bidaux, ICO Partners CEO.
“ Joining ICO Partners represents a great opportunity, as I can see a real and growing demand in the industry for outsourced marketing and PR services in the online gaming field,” says Wéra.“ I am very excited to join such an experienced team, and apply my expertise to develop ICO Media and provide the best possible service to our clients.”
ICO Partners will be exhibiting at gamescom in Cologne from 18th to 21st August 2010, at a stand located in Hall 4.1, Aisle H, no. 055. To request a meeting, please contact email@example.com.
