Thursday, 1st July 2010: Gameshastra, India's largest game services provider, has today announced the opening of a new facility in London, headed by games industry veteran Martin Ogden.
Martin joins Gameshastra from mobile publisher Player One, which he founded. Martin has been instrumental in the development and publishing of over 100 videogames - including Michael Vaughan Cricket, Ronnie O'Sullivan Snooker, Young Bond, RBS 6 Nations Rugby, and a game based around the world's most successful football club, Manchester United. He has previously worked in senior management at companies such Paramount and Universal Home Entertainment, so brings with him a host of contacts and mainstream entertainment experience - perfect for Gameshastra's global ambitions.
The next few months will prove to be pivotal for Gameshastra, as it seeks to establish a new consumer brand, delivering the highest-quality entertainment to all digitally-enabled devices. Alongside, the firm will continue to offer the game's industry's best outsourcing solutions, furthering its work with all of the industry's major players.
