Gameshock TV returns, exclusively on the Poker Channel

Premieres in 30 European countries on Friday 7th October

London, UK, 7 th October: After the damp squib that was the summer schedule, games releases are back with a bang, with id’s Rage leading the A-grade influx, followed by enough numbered sequels to make the Count from Sesame Street pass out with glee. Fanboy debate rears its trolling head as we pit Fifa against PES, and Gears of War against Resistance, while Steve Hill ventures into the dark recesses of Earls Court in an attempt to infiltrate the ranks of costumed fans, and root out some scoops on some upcoming titles. Plus, cloud gaming goes stratospheric with OnLive, and we speak to one of the team behind the Gears of War series to get to the bottom of the challenges of writing for games. Turns out it’s not just about scribbling out a series of screams and gun noises. That’s our dream career shattered then.
