GamesIndustry.biz and IndustryGamers.com merge to form GamesIndustry International

Brighton, UK, 5th March 2012: Eurogamer Network is delighted to announce the launch of GamesIndustry International, the new face of leading trade websites GamesIndustry.biz and IndustryGamers.com.

The new GamesIndustry International website can be found at http://www.gamesindustry.biz in dedicated desktop and mobile versions and is open to all readers. Registered trade users benefit from industry-only discussion areas, a redeveloped company directory and networking services.

GamesIndustry International offers world-class reporting around the clock on everything that matters to people working in the games business and related industries, along with in-depth interviews and analysis from a global editorial team based in the UK, New York and San Francisco.

The site brings together the 90,000 registered industry professionals, freelancers and students who read GamesIndustry.biz and the huge US following of IndustryGamers.com, representing a unique monthly audience of 500,000 unique readers.

"The launch of GamesIndustry International brings together two of the best editorial and commercial teams serving the games trade today under one roof," said Eurogamer Operations director Tom Bramwell. "They now represent the biggest games industry trade website in the world and we're excited to see what they can achieve together."

GamesIndustry International is edited by veteran journalists Matt Martin (European Editor) and James Brightman (US Editor), each of whom heads up a full-time team of trade journalists, and respected contributors like columnists Rob Fahey and Johnny Minkley, and technology correspondent Richard Leadbetter.

As well as editorial content, GamesIndustry International plays host to the world's largest games industry jobs board, where employers can uncover new talent and individuals can look up the latest roles across the industry.

GamesIndustry International will also play a vital role in this year's Eurogamer Expo, taking place 27th to 30th September at Earls Court, attended by 50,000 gamers. The GamesIndustry Fair, announced last month, will be curated by GamesIndustry International and features career and education sessions, a career fair, investor and publisher summits and much more.
