As more investments flow into the Arab games development scene, the number of gaming start ups is multiplying rapidly. However, there is a dearth of game development experience in the region and start ups are struggling to find and attract talented domestic game programmers and are instead resorting to outsourcing game development work off-shore. Game Zanga is an attempt to improve the situation by giving individual game developers the chance to show their work and become more discoverable in the industry., He added.

In addition to the cash prizes that await winning entries, all games created during the Game Zanga will be published on and exposed to  millions of game plays from Arab casual game players. Game creators will enjoy the full benefits of hosting their games on including:

?     The chance to monetize their games through ad revenue sharing on all ads displayed in their game’s page.

?     Optional integration with the GameTako API which allows developers to tie their games to the GameTako users database to capture and post high scores and game save data.
