GarageGames Brings More AAA Talent to Vegas

Las Vegas – October 11, 2011 – GarageGames© ( today announces two new hires to lead the company’s efforts in developing engines and tools for game development.   With the hiring of Dmitry Shtainer and Dennis Booth, the GarageGames team has tripled in size this year.

Eric Preisz, GarageGames’ CEO comments, “These new hires join our other veterans Elie Arabian, our creative director, and Dexter Chow, our chief operating officer, to create a strong management team going into 2012.  Elie is a veteran from Westwood and EA, where he was Art Director and Dexter came to us after working as an Executive Producer at Ubisoft, Mattel and Broderbund. ”

Dmitry Shtainer, Technical Director

Shtainer joins GarageGames from Monolith Productions (Warner Bros Games) where he served as senior software engineer.  He specialized in high end graphics rendering for DX 11, PS3 and Lithtech, their internal engine.    Previously, he held various director titles at EA, Crytek and Blade 3D.  He holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science degree from Saint Petersburg State University.

Dennis Booth, Lead Programmer

Booth joins GarageGames from Raging Skull Productions, founder, where he developed iOS, Wii and PC games.  Prior to this, he worked on several titles on iOS, PS3 and Xbox 360. He started in the industry as a programmer at Rainbow Studios, part of THQ, and became a Technical Director on their flagship MX vs. ATV franchise.
