Leipzig, 25 July 2008
Leading European games trade publication and website MCV has sealed a wide-ranging media partnership with this year's GC - Games Convention in Leipzig.
MCV: The Market for Computer&Video Games is a UK-based publication, but has an unrivalled international readership amongst retailers, distributors, media and financial community. It is a weekly print title but also a powerful business website ( http://www.mcvuk.com) with Daily News service. A special print edition of MCV will be published on Friday August 15th fully previewing the Leipzig event and boasting extra circulation in numerous areas around the show - including the GC Business Center and its new Marketplace area.
MCV, published by Intent Media, will also have representatives attending the show via a booth within the Marketplace (hall 1, booth no. J40/1). "This is the closest MCV has worked with GC - Games Convention. It is a powerful partnership, which has focused on bringing the wider European trade together under one roof for a few days in August, networking and doing real business," said MCV publisher Stuart Dinsey. Peggy Schönbeck, Project Director of GC - Games Convention comments the partnership as follows: "We are delighted to have tied this wide-ranging partnership with MCV: The Market for Computer&Video Games. Games Convention is a pan-European event, attracting many visitors from the international business community. Working with a market leader like MCV online and print is helping us to further raise the profile of our event and add value for our exhibitors."
MCV has been aiding GC - Games Convention's registration programme and pre-promotion via online and print for several weeks.
