GEARS OF GLORY: APEX ACE PLAYABLE AT DARE INDIE FEST, PRIZES FOR POTENTIAL RACE LEGENDS.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EDINBURGH, UK- August 2nd, 2012: Delegates at Scotland’s Dare Indie Fest

will be challenged to become race legends playing Gears of Glory: Apex

Ace, with the top ten racers during the event receiving prizes.

The champion will receive a genuine F1 race car part – a Gear, of course –

taken from the 2006 Honda team car raced by a would-be World Champion.

In addition to that, the top-three podium places will all receive champion

medals, with the top ten receiving the game for free on release.

Delegates can enter the competition by racing a timed lap around a circuit

created especially for the show. The Gears of Glory: Apex Ace booth can be

found in the Indie Showcase.

Colin Riley, the sole developer of Apex Ace, stated: "It's fantastic to be

given the opportunity to showcase at Dare Indie Fest. Everybody knows how

popular the Dare ProtoPlay is each year, so it's a privilege to be

involved.

"The line-up for the showcase in general is fantastic. The organisers have

understood being Indie means different things to different people, and

that games other than puzzle platformers are more than welcome.”

The Indie Showcase, which is part of Dare Indie Fest, is a new event

alongside the massively popular Dare ProtoPlay. It takes place in Dundee's

Caird Hall during August 10th-12th and entry to the showcase is free.

Together with the Dare games, there are over 40 games for the public to

play for FREE.

During the Showcase Domipheus Labs will also be discussing their Online

Services platform, which aims to bridge a gap which exists for Indies

requiring licence key management and gamer services. Gears of Glory: Apex

Ace is the service platform launch title.

Gears of Glory: Apex Ace is releasing in Beta late August on PC, adding

multiplayer and track editing shortly after in additional free updates. It

will be available on various download platforms, including IndieCity.
