Grand Chase: Chaos Kicks Off Vegas Sweepstakes Event and In-Game Tournament

Irvine, Calif. – September 14, 2011 ­– SG Interactive is ramping up in September with two new in-game events for its free-to-play title, Grand Chase: Chaos . The first event is the “Come and Get It!” player-versus-player (PvP) tournament. On Sept. 15, for one day only, tournament participants will compete to win in-game currency, items and armor sets. The second event is the latest iteration of SG Interactive’s “Fall for Your Game” sweepstakes, which will award one lucky gamer a chance to roll the dice in Las Vegas and attend the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show.

  • “Come and Get It!”
The 16 th Grand Chase tournament, “Come and Get It!”, features the return of the King of the Hill format, which pits players against each other in extremely fast-paced, one-on-one elimination battles. On Thursday, Sept. 15 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. PDT, gamers can participate in qualifying rounds in 12 special battle rooms on the Gardosen Server. At 6:30 p.m. PDT, the victors of each room – the Room Kings – are pitted against each other in final playoff battles. Each Room King automatically receives 20,000 points, and first, second and third place winners will receive additional points, Gacha, Seal Breaker Scrolls and armor sets.
  • “Fall For Your Game”
From now until Tuesday, Sept. 27, Grand Chase community members can enter the September Las Vegas sweepstake s. During the “Fall for Your Game” event, players collect Event Tickets and Gold Event Tickets can be redeemed for prizes, including a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas. Players receive their first Event Ticket Box simply by logging into the game during the event dates and gain more Boxes by collecting dropped items from Card Soldiers and by winning PvP battles. During the event, a Card Soldier will appear in dungeons at a 30% rate, and there is a 50% chance that victors of PvP battles will receive an Event Ticket Box.
