London , UK – 19 th August, 2011 – As the acquisition of Trinigy by Havok and parent company Intel is finalised, Firefly reflects positively on the merger and its implications for Stronghold 3.
On August 8 th it was announced that Havok, the premier provider of cross-platform interactive software and services for digital media creators, had entered into an agreement to acquire Trinigy, the independent game engine developer responsible for the Vision Engine that powers Stronghold 3. With the deal expected to be finalised in the coming days, after which the integration of the two companies’ staff will begin, here at Firefly we thought it would be a good time to contribute our thoughts on the merger.
