SANTA CLARA, Calif.– February 23, 2010– From January 21st through January 30th players in Hello Kitty Online North America worked together for Food for Friends 2, a charity event in which players gathered in game items to be translated into a real life donation to benefit Haiti relief efforts.
Players gathered a staggering 534,358 items, and Aeria Games&Entertainment made a donation to the Red Cross Haiti relief efforts on the behalf of Hello Kitty Online North America players on February 19th 2010.
Players participated with their guilds, and the top contributing-guilds won bonuses of Sanrio Loyalty Points, which can be used in the game’s item mall. On top of that, all participants received a special bonus of loyalty points as a thank you for their contribution.
