History® Legends of War, invading stores today!

8th March 2013 Letchworth UK

Today, Friday 8th March 2013, sees PQube release History® Legends of War, the eagerly awaited turn-based strategy for consoles, from Slitherine, long-established experts in the genre.

History® Legends of War has you assume the role of the famous General George Patton, in command of the US Third Army, during a crucial and pivotal period of WW2. As you transverse the Western European Theatre from the blood stained beaches of Normandy to the war torn streets of Berlin, you must successfully complete real, historical WW2 operations including, Operation Cobra, Operation Overlord, the Siege of Cherbourg, the Chambois Pocket and the Ardennes Counteroffensive .

There are many battles and missions along the way, but you’ll have 36 different types of units at your disposal to advance into enemy territory, all of which can be upgraded and improved as you progress.

You must take part in various actions, including attack, infiltrate, sabotage, defend strongholds, bomb areas, blow up tanks, rescue stranded allies, recover information and enter Berlin to overcome German troops and tip the war in favour of the allied forces!

Built especially for console, History® Legends of War features hours of in-depth gameplay, with a simple and intuitive control system, historical accuracy and a user-friendly HUD.

History® Legends of War is available today, 8th March 2013, for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 and Windows PC. It can be purchased here or at the following link:
