Ports of Original TurboGrafx 16 Favorites to be Available for Download in January
San Mateo, Calif.– Jan. 5, 2011 – Hudson Entertainment is bringing back the old school with the upcoming release of TurboGrafx Classics for PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system. The 10 games from the beloved console will be available to PlayStation Network users, released individually this winter.
Fans of the TurboGrafx-16 can look forward to playing the following games on their PlayStation® 3 system or PSP® system, which will be the first of many TurboGrafx-16 games delivered in full to the new generation console:

The original TurboGrafx-16 video game console was developed by Hudson Soft and NEC. It was released to major popularity in Japan in 1987, making its way to North America in 1989. With an 8-bit CPU and dual 16-bit GPU the console was capable of displaying 482 colors at once. TurboGrafx-16 was the first console to have an optional CD module, which allowed for more storage and cheaper costs.
