Valve’s seminal first person shooter sequel Half Life 2 took the Grand Prix as IGN’s most beloved video game of the noughties, while Batman epic The Dark Knight was judged the overall best film of the decade.

IGN’s movie contingent followed the same process for the films of the decade and voted director Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight as the overall winner.
