IGN reveals People’s Choice Award shortlist

11/08/2011 – IGN, the world’s most popular videogames and entertainment website, today announces the shortlist for the first ever IGN People’s Choice Award – open for voting throughout gamescom 2011.

The independent award will celebrate the fans’ favourite game at gamescom 2011, which attracts over a quarter of a million gamers to Cologne, Germany from Wednesday 17 th to Sunday 21 st August.

The multi-format shortlist of 25 titles was assembled by a global panel of IGN Editors, who champion their choices in a new feature at – http://uk.games.ign.com/articles/118/1187127p1.html

The IGN People’s Choice Award has a single winner, the game with the most votes, decided by fans.
