Imagine appoints Nash as new Subscriptions Manager

Imagine Publishing today announced that it had appointed Lucy Nash as Subscriptions Manager. Nash has a remit to drive worldwide subscriptions growth, and she is also responsible for Imagine’s online store– ImagineShop.co.uk.

Before joining Imagine Publishing Nash worked at Haynes Publishing, Direct Line and Bathstore, the latter as Marketing Manager responsible for all above and below the line media planning. Nash’s experience will prove invaluable when it comes to growing Imagine’s already impressive subscriptions base for magazines such as iCreate, Digital Photographer, Web Designer, Photoshop Creative, SciFiNow and games™. The specialist nature and collectability of the majority of Imagine’s magazines makes them particularly suitable for subscriptions.

“Imagine Publishing is the most exciting and dynamic publishing house in the UK and the opportunity to become part of the team and help drive the magazine brands and subscriptions was too good an opportunity to miss” said Nash.“My aim is to grow the number of subscriptions and profit, and to continue the development of the department to become one of the most efficient and robust in the industry.”

Imagine Publishing Managing Director, Damian Butt commented:“Imagine’s magazines are high quality, specialist and collectable and this makes them particularly attractive for subscribers. Lucy’s appointment signals our intent to develop Imagine’s already-strong subscriptions levels to new heights, and I welcome her experience and focus in what will be a key area of growth for Imagine in 2009 and beyond.”

Imagine Publishing is one of the UK’s fastest growing consumer specialist publishers. Formed in May 2005, it now publishes 20 magazines and 23 websites in the videogames, computing, entertainment and photography markets. An Imagine magazine is purchased every ten seconds.
