Imagine Publishing launches first ebooks on Amazon Kindle Store

Imagine Publishing has launched a new series of ebooks onto Amazon's worldwide Kindle Store, expanding its digital portfolio with new releases in cutting-edge markets, including iPhone and iPad, Android and photography. The groundbreaking How It Works series is also buoyed with the launch of two new titles.

Imagine Publishing's initial ebook line-up includes Complete Photography Book, Android Tips, Tricks&Apps, iPhone Tips, Tricks, Apps&Hacks, Classic Videogames Hardware Genius Guide, SF: The Sci-Fi Literature Genius Guide, How It Works Book Of Space, How It Works Book Of Amazing Answers To Curious Questions and iPad For Beginners.

"Yes, ebooks are exciting, and yes, it's another signal that Imagine is intent on reaching consumers across the world through new media as well as print" said Editor In Chief Aaron Asadi "But unless we could guarantee that Imagine's commitment to quality would not be compromised, we would never have expanded into the Kindle Store. With these ebooks, though, we believe we've created titles that don't just complement Imagine's reputation as a market-leading publishing but enhances it."

"Imagine Publishing is a worldwide multimedia content producer, so why wouldn't we exploit an exciting format like the Kindle?," said Managing Director Damian Butt. "This new digital initiative is just one of the many ways we make our quality, trusted content available to thousands of new readers every day and we have had proven success in being quick to move onto new formats - be it on iPad, Android tablet, Nook or iPhone."

The ebooks will be joined by many more Imagine Publishing titles as the year continues, with the company planning to release 50 within the first year.

Imagine Publishing is one of the UK's fastest-growing consumer specialist publishers. Formed in May 2005, Imagine now publishes 20 regular print magazines, 30 digital apps on the iPad/iPhone, and 28 websites in the videogames, computing, entertainment, motoring and photography markets.
