Berlin, March 18 th, 2013 – The internationally operating multiplatform publisher Immanitas Entertainment announced the action title Let's Skate for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch today. The action-packed skater game will not only fascinate the fans of the subcultural type of sport, but also the ones who'd rather only virtually control the board. As of April, Let's Skate will be available free of charge on the App Store.
In Let's Skate, the player steers his skateboard through a total of 40 levels. Always on the run from the police, you have to get to the next skate shop with your board as fast as possible to complete the level. Speed is everything because once the police catches up to you, the level is deemed as not completed. However, despite an imminent arrest, a real skater won't complete the wild chase without doing cool tricks and casual jumps. Extra points can be collected in the form of coins and later be exchanged against useful power-ups, such as a speed bonus in the skate shop. Via in-app purchase, five further characters can be unlocked in addition to the five standard skaters.
The classic time-run game rewards everyone who masters the level the fastest and with spectacular jumps with high point scores. In addition to a harmonious soundtrack as well as an extra HD version for the iPad, a Facebook connect function will also be available. The personal highscore can therefore directly be shared with friends and challengers.
