Imp Paired is a memory puzzle game for iOS, targeted for release Spring/Summer 2013. The public beta is the final test period before launch of the game. The beta test is intended to allow the developer to answer key questions about the game ahead of its release.
Testers for the public beta will be asked to play each new build of the game and respond to a short (approx. 10min) questionnaire that accompanies each build. To participate in the testing you will need to have your own iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) and will need to sign up by following the steps outlined at impaired.com/beta
Nicholas Lister: “ I think it's invaluable to hear what players have to say, especially when you've lived with a project for so long as a developer. In the end the game is made for the players, so it's vital to know that when it's given to them it exceeds what they're expecting."

This memory game title is best described as a modern take on Pelmanism or Pairs. In traditional Pairs games you start with a full board and attempt to clear it, but in Imp Paired you are tasked with preventing a board from filling. The game is set on a package sorting production line, where players keep on top of their workload by revealing and matching patterns on the packages’ undersides. New packages keep arriving all the time so the player has to work quickly and accurately to keep their hopes alive.
The player's work is overseen by a pair of imp characters who pop-up between levels to instruct, encourage, insult and infuriate the player. The imps seem to be in charge, but as the player gains mastery of the increasing challenge the relationship between the player and the imps begins to unfold
Imp Paired has both single and multiplayer modes and a range of difficulties. It sits together as a smart, humorous and fun experience, which lets newcomers and experts alike enjoy an exciting and challenging memory game.
