Indie finalists ready to kick-start Nordic Game 2011

Eight new indie projects have been selected, and the finalists will be giving short talks about each others’ games, in the form of a special indie developer roundtable. Then, we’ll open up the event for a party! The finalist games will all be displayed for the public to try.

Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite finalist to determine the winner of this year’s“Indie Sensation” award, presented at the Nordic Game Awards show on May 11. We’ve also been told that our friends at Unity will be giving free Unity Pro licenses to the winning team.

The following games have been nominated:

<*> 1916– Der unbekannte Krieg, by Kriegsgraben und Stormvogel <*> Cobalt, by Oxeye Game Studio <*> Jesus vs Dinosaurs, by Martin Jonasson and Petri Purho <*> Mobiloid, by Monty Games <*> Nimbus, by Noumenon Games <*> Paul&Percy, by Mads Peter Vedsten Larsen, Klaus Kabel Kritensen, and Magnus Poppel <*> Spirits, by Spaces of Play <*> Vikings on Trampolines, by D-Pad Studio
