Indie Game Studio eye3ware releases Sky Alchemist: a steampunk puzzle game

Cologne, May 18,2012

Independent developer eye3ware released their steampunk puzzle game Sky Alchemist.

Sky Alchemist is available for PC and Mac on Desura.

Sky Alchemist is a steampunk puzzle game about transforming impure matter into pure forms, using heaters, coolers, and breakers, phase-specific collectors, and a centrifuge.

The game offers:

•           A persistent inventory system lets the player retain her progress from level to level.

•           The player can collect additional matter and sell it for more and better tools, giving the player multiple options how to play and replay a given level.

•           Thousands and thousands of possible missions each featuring different combinations of the 58 collectible matter types in their 3 phases.

Sky Alchemist is set in a rich world - a human society that has achieved "Victorian-level" technology, but with a twist - women are the dominant gender. The next releases will further evolve the story. The scientific facts like melting points, heat capacity and hardness that are used for the gameplay are well researched and stay as close to reality as possible.

The game’s art displays a beautiful and historically well researched late Victorian / Art Nouveau style.

Sky Alchemist is available on Desura for $ 9.99.
