IndieCity Developer Challenge Hits 50 Games!

IndieCity.com is proud to announce that their developer community has reached the 50 games milestone!

19 DECEMBER 2011. LEAMINGTON SPA, UK – IndieCity

At the end of November IndieCity put out a Challenge for their developer community: if they got 100 games on the Store by December 31 st then all developers involved get a higher revenue share (90% with integrated achievements, or 80% without). The developers (and Community Approval Process testers) have put in a huge amount of effort and there are now 50 games on the Store, meaning that they are halfway to completing the Challenge!

Once this tier of Challenge is complete, the next level will open up allowing developers to earn 95% of their games’ revenue from 250 games on the Store. Current progress can be viewed at http://developers.IndieCity.com/challenge.

This Challenge has really helped to demonstrate the huge amount of creativity within the indie games scene, with games spanning a huge variety of genres, themes, and styles.
