Intel Extreme Masters with CS:GO showmatches in New York

 

 

Intel Extreme Masters, the global league of the video game champions, is coming to New York for the next Global Challenge of the 2011/12 season. Apart from the competitions in StarCraft 2, League of Legends and Counter-Strike 1.6 the event will host first ever Counter-Strike: Global Offensive showmatches. Valve representatives will attend the New York event in order to give world's best professional CS1.6 gamers the opportunity to test the game.

 

The schedule of the matches:

- CS:GO Showmatch #1: Friday, (Oct. 14) 18:00 EDT - 2 Teams of Group A (Team EG, mTw, UMX, Black&Yellow)

- CS:GO Showmatch #2: Sunday, (Oct. 16) 18:00 EDT - America vs. Europe

 

Both matches will be brodcasted live by the ESL TV at www.esl.tv

 

Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge New York is the third live event of the league in season 2011/12. It will take place at the New York Comic Con (Javits Center, NY) on October 13 - 16. After competitions in Cologne (Germany) and Guangzhou (China) the best professional gamers in StarCraft 2, League of Legends and Counter-Strike 1.6 will compete in New York for a share of 93,000 US Dollars and slots in the grand final of the league, the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship. All events of the league are broadcasted live by the ESL TV.
